Pull My Devil Trigger
So, late/early blogging again.........
I got into this song through memes but I found myself relating to this song because I have
been feeling really frustrated...
I even kicked some furniture. Felt good to kick it but it's not like it's gonna change anything.
I think it's always cool to find a song with lyrics you relate to. I've always felt that there is no universal interpretation, and since listening to music can be largely personal, all interpretations are equally valid in the mind of the individual. So, if you find a song that really resonates with you, you should go with it. Even though the Devil Trigger song is intended to be fun, you continue to find a deeper, more personal meaning in it. And I think that is what music is about, connecting to you and changing your interpretation of the world in some way.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I hope you can find your change. For the most part that devil trigger has to come from inside you. When people wait for it to happen, it rarely does. Kicking the furniture shows you have the enthusiasm and frustration but you just need a way to manifest it.
